GotBackup – the online backup service for computers and mobile devices – was launched almost a year ago and they have a virtual event coming for that one-year anniversary on April 6th.
Here are the details:
1. The event will start on Saturday April 6th at 10am Central time.
If you happen to live in the Texas area, you are more then welcome to go along and join them at their corporate offices for a fun meet-and-greet.
2. Joel Therien, the guy behind GotBackup, is very excited to be revealing their brand new software.

His team redeveloped their software from the ground up rather than using open source code as their core.
- They have a very simple new Desktop app for both Windows and Mac
- They rebuilt the cloud software to be even more simple and way faster
- They also rebuilt the mobile apps to be more simple to use and way faster
To improve simplicity, they took away some unnecessary features that were more or less confusing people rather than helping them.
