Keep in mind that I’m not trying to be preachy in this post, because Lord knows I’ve played the blame game before too.
Here’s what I mean about the blame game…
If you’re not seeing the success you want online and you blame the company that you joined, or your sponsor, that’s not who you should be blaming.
However, if you start blaming yourself for your lack of results online, then you’re putting yourself in a position to get better.
I sometimes get emails from people who take zero responsibility.
They join program after program and place a few ads, and when they don’t get any sales they proclaim:
“This industry is a scam!”
or..
“The system doesn’t work!”
Meanwhile, there are thousands of people using the very same system who are getting sales.
A powerful thing happens when you start taking responsibility for your failure, you start looking at what’s necessary to succeed.
Some people shift the blame onto the program they’re promoting and they never learn a darn thing because, after all, they think it wasn’t their fault they failed in the first place.
These people refuse to do things that other successful marketers are doing, like building their list daily, developing a brand/story, and following up consistently.
If you’re not seeing success right now, DON’T blame the industry, blame yourself for not doing what is necessary to make this great industry work in your favor.
Really take a long hard look at how you’re doing business online and ask yourself if you’re really doing what is asked of you by a system or course.
And like I said, I’m not trying to sound preachy here, I’ve played the blame game myself, so I know from experience that playing that game will get you nowhere fast.
Furthermore, if what you’re doing right now isn’t getting you the results you desire, then it’s probably not a good idea to keep doing what you’re doing.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
In most cases, you simply need to model what you see successful people doing who are getting the results you want.
