There are two things that every marketer needs to build their lists – lead magnets to incentivize people to sign up to the list and bonuses to sweeten the deal and make it more likely that they’ll remain subscribers.
What Is A Lead Magnet?
A lead magnet is a free gift you give away as a reward for someone giving you their email address on one of your squeeze pages or landing pages.
These are typically free reports or ebooks but can also be video courses/classes/tutorials, access to training courses or membership sites and so on.
The more creative and unique your lead magnet is, the more effective it will be.
What Are Bonuses?
These are products that you offer for free to people who buy through your links.
Affiliate marketing is a pretty competitive field and lots of marketers end up promoting the same products.
In order to differentiate themselves from their competition, affiliate marketers will offer a list of bonuses as an incentive to get people to buy through their links instead of someone else’s.
Buyers in the internet marketing niche know that many marketers will offer different bonus packages and they’ll end up buying the product on offer from the affiliate who has what they consider to be the best bonus package.
That might be down to the monetary value of the bonus package being offered.
Or it might be down to the bonus package on offer providing additional useful tools and courses that bolster the product being sold.
Every buyer has their own criteria for what they think is the best bonus package for any given product.
But the upshot is that if you really want a good chance of making a sale, you need to offer a top-notch bonus package.
Where Do You Get These Lead Magnets And Bonuses?
Let’s face it, not everyone has the time, energy or expertise to create their own lead magnet or bonus product (or list of products).
And it’s far easier to leverage someone else’s work here.
That’s one reason why Private Label Rights (PLR) products are so popular.
For a small fee, you can pick up the rights to put your name on a product, give it away as a lead magnet, add it as a bonus for some product you’re selling or even to sell it directly if you choose to do that.
The problem is that there’s an awful lot of crap, out-of-date, poorly researched, poorly written and poorly produced PLR content and products out there.
The last thing you want to do is give your subscribers a poor impression of you by serving them up low-quality lead magnets or bonuses.
So, you need to find the nuggets among all the dross out there and make sure that you’re providing your subscribers with quality material.
Here are some PLR sources I recommend you take a look at to get started – these all provide quality content which can be used as lead magnets or bonus products:

You can give out the links to as many of the courses as you want (or sell them individually or as a bundle) – 1 as a lead magnet for instance, 3 or 4 that are a good match for the product you’re selling, or all 7 if you want.
And you keep all the profits from any sales you make of the courses.
So, this is an example of bonus products that can earn you an additional income.

You can give away free access to the courses and membership sites as a bonus for a paid product, or you can sell the courses directly and collect 100% of the fee you charge for them.
The official, public-facing Automated List Profits site charges $47 per month / $499 per year / $999 for lifetime Access to be a member without the resale rights.
If you’re selling membership access yourself, after buying the reseller rights, you must charge at least $19.95 per month for access.
This is a bonus I use myself in some of my promotions and I offer discounted membership to the site for $19.95 per month, $97 per year or $199 for lifetime access (no resell rights are included).

4. Other PLR Suppliers
There are a number of sites that provide PLR products apart from those above that are also worth looking at.
There can be up to hundreds of products to choose from, from reports to ebooks to video courses; some even offer PLR software products.
Cost: Varies depending on the PLR product you buy.
5. Email Sequences
These aren’t lead magnets or bonus products as such, but they’re what should happen after you’ve successfully signed someone up to your list.
One of the biggest hurdles for people starting out in list building and email marketing is not knowing what emails to write and send out to their subscribers.
And knowing what products to promote is another hurdle people new to email marketing face.
So once you’ve hooked people onto your email list through your lead magnets and bonuses, what do you do then?
Most mentors will recommend that you send out an email every day.
This is to keep your name front-and-center in your subscriber’s mind so that they don’t forget who you are and unsubscribe from your list.
So a quick solution to this email issue is to buy a PLR email pack.
These contain weeks or months worth of emails that promote a variety of products.
All you have to do is add them into your autoresponder and paste in your affiliate links (you will have to join several affiliate programs first).
When you queue all these emails up, you have an email sequence that will send out 1 email a day to your subscribers on autopilot.
It’s important that you don’t just send out offer after offer though. Everyone finds that tiring.
You want to mix things up a bit – send out links to your latest blog posts or YouTube videos, tell your subscribers what you’re up to and how things are going, provide free training and gifts, send out your newsletter, all intermingled with the product offers.
It takes time to set up an email sequence, but once the work is done, you don’t have to do it again.
Well, that’s not strictly true.
Some products have a shelf life and will be taken off the market and you may need to replace the email and/or link promoting that product in your email sequence.
You may also want to remove emails promoting products that just don’t sell to your audience.
It’s not something you need to monitor every day, but it is something you need to keep an eye on.
Just remember to entertain your subscribers with stories so that they become engaged with what you’re saying.

6. PLR Internet Marketing Newsletter
One of the most common types of email to send out is the newsletter.
This is typically an extra-long email featuring news, tips, what you’re up to and so on.
Some send out a weekly newsletter, others a monthly one.
It all comes down to how dedicated you are to providing content for your subscribers.
Newsletters are normally sent out as broadcast emails.
That is, they are not part of an established email sequence but are sent out as and when you want.
They’re more suited to being broadcast emails as the content in a newsletter might relate to trending news which could be out-of-date by the time a subscriber receives the email if it were part of your email sequence.
What if you want to take things up a notch and instead of a simple newsletter, you want to give your subscribers something more substantial?
Like a PDF newsletter.
Being able to offer your subscribers a professionally produced magazine will set you apart from other marketers.
You can use this as a lead magnet or as a bonus.
And your subscribers will know that as long as they remain on your list, they’ll get a new issue every month.
There’s only one PLR newsletter I know of – and it’s one I subscribe to myself.
If you’re interested in this, I do recommend that you edit the magazine in Word before you send it out to your subscribers.
There are occasional mistakes in the text – misspellings or incorrect grammar – that might need fixing.
And sometimes the end of an article is clipped when it shouldn’t be.
This can be due to the fonts used in the Word source file or slightly misplaced images pushing text out of the way.
I do wish their quality assurance was a bit better before they release the magazines for publication but forewarned is forearmed.
I also like to add affiliate links into the articles so that I have more chances of making sales.

7. Create Your Own Newsletter
If you’d prefer to create your own newsletter, especially if your niche is not in internet marketing, then creating your own newsletter is an option.
In the past, that would have been an arduous task, but one still worth putting time into.
These days, with the power and help of AI, creating a weekly (or even daily) newsletter is extremely easy.

8. Travel Bonuses
This might seem like an odd type of bonus to offer people in the internet marketing niche…but who wouldn’t turn down the chance of a free vacation if it was offered to them?
This type of bonus will work in any niche, for that reason.
The fly in the ointment, so to speak, is the current pandemic which has curtailed the vast majority of travel for vacations.
However, the travel bonuses you can give away are good for 18 months and things should be back to some type of normality by late 2021/early 2022.

One More Thing About Bonuses
Having a bunch of bonuses to offer is great, but how do you present them to prospective buyers?
You can go the simple text route and list them in an email or on a webpage, but it’s hardly visually stimulating.
Most marketers will build specific bonus pages for the products they promote.
That can mean a lot of coding or trying to cobble a good-looking page together in WordPress.
Sometimes, that’s all you need and it’s good enough.
Other times, you want to look more professional and have a bonus page that looks like it was created by a professional web developer.
The tool I use for this is called Commission Gorilla.
It makes it easier to create your bonus pages and those pages are hosted for you on their webservers.
I use it to create all my bonus pages now and I leave WordPress to blogging.

Final Thoughts
The list of PLR products above is by no means exhaustive.
But these are quality PLR products worth considering.
If you’re looking at PLR on other websites, make sure you take a good look at what the product is and its quality.
Buy it and evaluate it and ask yourself honestly if this is a product you really think has value or is it something to simply pad your bonus stack with.
If it’s the latter, then you’re better off not using it as a bonus.
You want your bonuses to not only offer value, money-wise, but to offer value in the quality of the content.
The more real value you can offer your subscribers, the more likely they will be to come to trust you and, ultimately, to spend money on what you recommend.
Remember that your subscribers are real people – treat them with respect and they’ll return the favor.
